on my 22nd birthday,
i was given a hand puppet as a gift,
[on my 25th birthday, i made an enlargement of the puppet, so that i or another could dress in the very doll that i am about to discuss]
i believe that it was a gift...but i may have found it myself,
that would not have been unusual for the time.
on my 22nd birthday, i had a party...
there was a bag of stale pita bread laying on the counter,
food left over from a large portion that had been gifted to me by friends from the east.
I threw the breads, like discus into the crowd of people.
Due to my state i had amazing visual accuity...
many guests were hit in the face with the OstBread.
In the other hand was the puppet...
i was eating cake from peoples plates, making a mess of the doll.
The object that allowed me to remember these things that would otherwise have been repressed:
That very doll, purple ribbon in hair...
sleeping next to me as i woke,
cake all over its mouth...red velvet...
it looked as though it had been eating beautiful dirt.
i still have the aforementioned doll,
and though the cake has browned with age, i can still look at it and say,
"you are not just a doll anymore, you are an implement of my evil."

[said with intensity that denies sympathy, despite how much i regret the act]

i then turn to a pile of gingersnaps on the floor, doll on hand,
and crush them into little pieces for the mice.
This all happens on the carpet, the crushing.
When i was standing over there,
you saw me standing in front of a city that i did not come from,
and the city is placed in a time when i never lived.
Yet, i have some connection to the city, perhaps i have flown above it,
in a commercial jet airliner.

[Jets would not exist were it not for the germans in WWII.
my grandfather told me that at a young age.
He was a POW in germany.
They treated him well because he,
and the other american officers fit their aesthetic of what they felt a man should be.]

[Commercial for taking pain-killers while flying, the view out the window is of strip mines[as photographed by Emmit Gowin and re-photographed by bradlee with a video camera using a superslow upward tilt and then using Final Cut Pro to super-impose actual footage of clouds and ground from a commercial jet airliner, commercial for strip mines, "think of them as earth-art"]

I was wearing a plaid western-style shirt,
but without the pearlescent snap buttons that are common of the western genre,
just reggie buttons,
the kind that slip into a slit,
analogous to so many other things we do...
but i usually forget after the 3rd...
and there is a person filming me from a sleeping bag,
filming me with 2 cameras...and their arms are shaking from the strain,
i saw the same person practicing earlier with 5 pound weights.
red, padded weights,
and the colors of the shirt make me think of the beach,
all sandy-dandy with a little blue here and there.
I was also wearing a brown and beige clip on tie...
with just a bit of red showing through the brown.
Of course, i am wearing my good coat,
the one that was designed by JPG when he was just a child.
Gaurding the top of my head from the wrath of god is a silk scarf that is more or less in the same tonal range as my chemise,
but with more blues, because it is closer to the sky.

[commercial break: what am i advertising? in this case, driving over the Chesapeake Bay Tunnel-Bridge whilst listening to Lampchop...its one of those quality of life issues that sits right up there next to Espresso in the morning, after waking up from the comfort of high thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, which conveniently happens to be the next advertisement]

Another commercial,
as if everything you just saw was a commercial for what i am about to t/sell you:
We have forged a special edition of 3 commemorative cups to celebrate the occassion,
all made of hand-thrown porcelain. Together, they fit into a spice rack with 16 copies of the story, all signed(by a different famous person that helped make the story happen), laminated, and placed neatly into the drawer.

Here are the pictures of the car.
alot of what may look like damage is dirt, there is a lot of pollen in the south and the car hasnt been cleaned in some time, so it is a bit hazier than it would be normally, but the paint is coming off a bit on the hood, and there are 2 dents, one that is visible in the front, and another small ding in the back.
